Herpes Sores
Formulated for associated symptoms of Herpes Simplex and Herpes Zoster such as itching, tingling, crusting and painful skin eruptions or ulcerations.
Directions: Ages 12 and up, take 6 drops or pellets by mouth (ages 0 to 11, give 3 drops or pellets) at bedtime or as directed by a health professional. Under age 2, crush/dissolve pellets in purified water.
Active Ingredients: Equal parts of Echinacea 11x, Hypericum perforatum 11x, Arsenicum album 15x, Bryonia 15x, Cantharis 15x, Chelidonium majus 15x, Cistus canadensis 15x, Conium maculatum 15x, Croton tiglium 15x, Dulcamara 15x, Graphites 15x, Kali bichromicum 15x, Lycopodium clavatum 15x, Mezereum 15x, Nux vomica 15x, Petroleum 15x, Pulsatilla 15x, Ranunculus bulbosus 15x, Rhus toxicodendron 15x, Sarsaparilla 15x, Sepia 15x, Sulphur 15x, Thuja occidentalis 15x.
Liquid Inactive Ingredients: USP Purified water; USP Gluten-free, non-GMO, organic cane alcohol 20%.
Pellet Inactive Ingredients: Gluten-free, non-GMO, organic beet-derived sucrose (lactose free) pellets.
According to the Materia Medica the following remedies in Herpes Sores may be administered for the following conditions:
Arsenicum album: Herpes, vesicles and violently burning; Herpes zoster.
Bryonia: Affects all serous membranes; Liver disorders; Herpes zoster.
Cantharis: Itching vesicles with burning pain on being touched.
Chelidonium majus: Old, spreading, offensive ulcers; Herpes simplex; Herpes on face, especially chin.
Cistus canadensis: Marked action in herpetic eruptions; Lips cracked.
Conium maculatum: Humid or scabby and burning tetters (skin eruptions such as herpes); Moist and spreading herpes on face.
Croton tiglium: Vesicular inflammation; Eruptions, pustular, blisters, clustered, which burst and form crusts; Vesicles confluent (running together) oozing.
Dulcamara: Tettery eruptions on labia; Cold sores on lips; Humid eruptions on face, genitals, hands, etc.
Echinacea: Biting, tingling on lips; Canker sores.
Graphites: Eruptions oozing out a thick honey-like fluid; Moist crusty eruptions, oozing out a sticky exudate; Herpetic eruptions on (male) organs; A leading anti-psoric.
Hypericum perforatum: Herpes zoster; Neuralgia (nerve pain).
Kali bichromicum: Itching and pain on penis with pustules.
Lycopodium clavatum: Skin unhealthy; Tetters (Skin eruptions such as herpes) on face, which are furfuraceous and yellow at the base.
Mezereum: One of Hahnemann's anti-psorics; A honey-like scab around mouth; Burning vesicles in mouth and on tongue.
Nux vomica: Eruptions with burning itching; Scabs and corroding ulceration on the red part of the lips and corner of mouth.
Petroleum: One of Hahnemann's leading anti-psorics; Herpes preputialis.
Pulsatilla: Chicken pox; Mucous membranes are all affected; Lower lip swelled and cracked in the middle.
Ranunculus bulbosus: Herpetic eruptions with great itching; Vesicular and pustular eruptions.
Rhus toxicodendron: Herpes sometimes alternately with asthmatic sufferings and dysenteric looseness; Corners of mouth ulcerated; Herpes; Inflammation of glands.
Sarsaparilla: Herpes of prepuce (foreskin of penis); Herpes on upper lip.
Sepia: Moist scabious herpes, with itching and burning sensation; Annular (circular) herpes.
Sulphur: The greatest general psoric remedy for almost any kind of itch, sore, ulcer, etc.; Herpetic, red, irregular furfuraceous (scaly) spots.
Thuja occidentalis: Aphthae (canker sores), ulcers in the mouth; Herpetic eruptions.
