We prepare our Skunk Cabbage Extract from the rhizome & root of Symplocarpus foetidus plants which are sustainably wildcrafted in their natural habitat.
To assure optimal extraction of Skunk Cabbage's bioactive compounds, the rhizome (with its roots) is hand-harvested in autumn or spring, is carefully shade-dried to retain its full flavor & aroma, and is then thoroughly extracted.
